Company History
Medical Nanotechnologies, Inc. was formed in 2007 to develop carbon nanoparticle-based products that take advantage of unique physicochemical properties of carbon nanoparticles. We have a founding team with deep experience in the use, characterization, and modification of carbon nanoparticles.

Business Management
On the business side, the company is led internally by Dr. Gareth Hughes, former Group Leader of Life Sciences at Zyvex Corporation, and supported externally by Chairman of the Board, Dr. Rob Burgess, former VP of R&D at Zyvex Corporation and currently President and CEO of Atumida.

Scientific Management
On the science side, the company has established a Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) currently led by Dr. Ellen Vitetta, Director of the Cancer Immunobiology Center at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Joining Dr. Vitetta on our SAB are Dr. Rockford Draper, Professor of Chemistry and Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Texas at Dallas and Dr. Paul Pantano, Assistant Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the University of Texas at Dallas.
