Our Business

MedNanoTech's focus centers around the functionalization and specific delivery of nanoparticles for applications in various biomedical markets including the research, diagnostics, therapeutics and veterinary sectors.  In collaboration with strategic partners, our researchers have developed promising technologies that will allow for the effective use of nanotechnology-based solutions to address a variety of issues across multiple scientific disciplines including basic biomedical research and applied science related to disorders such as cancer and infectious diseases.  The company has four main business units including:

• Licensing - MedNanoTech has an aggressive partnership program and we seek to outlicense our proprietary intellectual property to companies interested in nanoparticle applications in the Life Sciences.

• Reagents -  Our proprietary nanoparticle dispersion and functionalization technology allows for the development of a broad range of immunohistochemical and immunocytochemical reagents for use in basic biomedical research.

• Therapeutics - Dispersion and functionalization of nanoparticles such as single wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) has provided opportunities for therapeutic intervention in areas such as cancer and infectious diseases.

Who We Are

Formed in early 2007, MedNanotech is a spinout of Zyvex Corporation, a leading provider of real-world nanotechnology solutions in the materials and instrumentation markets.  The company seeks to deliver on the development and application of nanotechnologies for Life Sciences applications.
